Running Italy

So, after Oberstdorf we travelled to Santo Porto Italy. Today I went for a run.
No preparations. Which is dump, normally I should have waited a day maybe two to get used at the hot temperature of Italy.

The Run
so, I went running at 9 o’clock, there was not that much sun but it was hot as hell. so, I went running downhill to warm up. After 2 kilometers, I was warmed up. I ran across the beach of Santo Porto Beautiful view, I even slowed dawn to enjoy the view.

After 3 kilometers the sun came out, and was burning on my skin. So, I needed to go back to my place. In total the run was 5 kilometers. With this weather as a Dutch guy in Italy I needed to look cover in the shadows. So, I wouldn’t burn.

So for the steemians among us, who live in cold countries and want to run on there holidays

• Wake up early before it get hot or run late around 19:00
• Take enough water with you, I ran with an Camelback
• Try to run in the shadow
