I switched to steepeak after 30 months on steemit, just 2 days ago, because of this debacle.
It's much better!
(apart from one thing - being unable to drag the window open, the one you make your posts in. That's annoying.)

    i switched to steempeak as well, and had to learn keychain, etc.....but it's well worth it. Lots to learn here
