I Haven't Used Youtube Since DTube Was Born - I Posted A Vid On Youtube Today To Promote DTube & Steemit!
DTube & The Steem Blockchain Have Been So Good To Me
Since DTube's inception I have posted 23 videos there! I vowed to boycott youtube except to use it to promote DTube and Steemit, so here is my first youtube video in over a month.

Hey it's great to be back and checking out your posts @lyndsaybowes This is a great way to spread an awareness at a time when it has never been more pertinent. In many ways Google, Facebook and Youtube (they're all one) are patting themselves on their proverbial backs at their ability to take over the net and in the process control the narrative. The more they try to define their ever decreasing definition of free speech the more people will leave them. There is something beautiful in that process because they are sowing the seeds of their own demise. We need to pull the rug out from underneath them before they become too comfortable, reminding them that the power is with the people. Great post as always @lyndsaybowes

This is awesome. I was on YouTube for over 5 years and my content was G rated, family friendly. Yet YT had to demonetize a bunch of my vids. I HATE how Fakebook and Zuk make billions off of the people that dont know any better. We need to wake those folks up! These types of vids are perfect to do it! Followed for sure! :)

Not only standard censorship, but it seems they promote agenda-driven trash over organically created content... kind of a soft censorship, favouring one voice over another...

I've been working on my divorce from Google for a couple of weeks now.
I have nothing major against Google. But I would just prefer that I have control of what I do and store on the web.
I don't use Gmail. I've stopped using YouTube. I switched from Google search to DuckDuckGo.
Now I'm now moving all my files out of Google Docs. Still trying to find a good alternative for that. Any suggestions for that anyone?

Wow, that's great! Dtube, bitchute, LBRY and all the other alternatives video posting sites out there now will put an end to this YouTube censorship.
