Probably you have seen @wang comments on every post on introduceyourself tag here on Steemit. But who is @wang ?

He is the friendly user(bot) that welcomes every new user on Steemit with the following message:

But lets take a look on @wang 's wallet :
As you can see he has made huge amounts of steem power and dollars just by spamming the same comment on every post.
As Steemit is becoming more popular every day , new bots will appear with the same or different strategies .
A solution should be found to stop them(the bots). All we can do is to downvote and flag their comments.
Wow i know how to make bots... Good idea wang. Yes an overflow of bots is not good for the many posts and wangs wallet... I won't make any spamming bots, is not my thing.
I would personally appreciate if you make an autoflag bot and maybe others would also, being able to set an user name and flag his posts directly would be pretty neat, and if you manage it to check content for results on google it would be even better since its hard to find manually copy-paste posts.
I agree and I tried to do it, the only solution i found thanks to their speed of posting and amount of posts is creating another bot that automatically flags content of users tagged on it as bots.
Ps: I do think that what wang is doing is good but having a pissload of bots is not a good thing.

he has been a good introduction to the platform for some users, but at what potential cost? an infestation of bots can't be good

Is he a bad bot?
He actually ended up doing something good and usefull but i still don't think him earning all that power is a good thing, besides it only encourages others to use bots.
i agree on it encouraging other bots and that can't be good
I fell for this one too. When I made my first post I though what a nice guy..too point out some guidelines...then not soo much
