Steemit - the Tron Token?

I recently notice now that steemit allows the holding of Tron. How does this all work? Do steemians get to upvote and earn Tron too? This would be a big change in the steem ecosystem.

With the increase evaluation of Steem / SBD while now adding Tron it is one of the better wallets across the cryptosphere. Since there are second layer tokens on steem-engine on top it makes the who steemit ecosystem that much more valuable to crypto investors.

Maybe one day steemit will have a wallet that basically can store multiple cryptocurrencies and allow users to gift or upvote users with the use of those cryptos. This will allow steemit to be virtually used by all making it a dominant blogging platform.
