It looks like both. There will be a token swap.
Read it again. Steemit was sold, it's impossible to sell Steem.
The blockchain will be left behind.
Steem and Steemit are separate companies last I knew.
But the idea of a coin/token swap is quite intimidating to me.
As a developer, it adds a level of uncertainty that is alarming.
Yes, it looks like steemit.com (and possibly steemit,inc) were sold and somehow there is also going to be a steem token swap as well as migration of existing apps...
so we never get SMT? nice scam
They are doing a token swap for the existing coins...
