I agree with you in principal that the lopsided control is hurting Steem/Steemit but the technology is still valued. So are you buying EOS with your SBD?

Lopsided control cannot be cloaked under a veil of greed. And to answer your question, I sold all my EOS last month at it's $15-$16 high - I think I might regret that ;)
