Many thanks for this b/c I've been looking at hardware wallets for my BTC. I currently have all my BTC tucked safely away in a paper wallet. I'll check out electrum today and if you've used it since 2011 I'd say it has to have a helluva good track record. Thanks again brother. The crypto eduction continues.
I still really like my Ledger Nano S, but admittedly, that might be because of how snazzy it is and how it keeps adding support for new stuff. Neo support is on the way.
I had troubles transferring Bitcoin Cash, all that was needed was a firm ware update which required some googling, but little things like auto update are expected?! P.S. Just updated my political Akkadian views on my profile - Sargon would be proud :)
Oh, yeah, I don't know anything about firmware updates on the Trezor. On the Nano S there's a Chrome Browser app that makes it pretty easy to plugin and update whatever.
The memory size leaves a little bit to be desired though, not enough room for all apps.

I've always been using electrum
100% of my BTC is on there now @samstickkz :)
I've heard Mycelium can be good for small amounts on an Android, but I think it's less secure.
Thank you for the mention! I'm giving it a listen now and will make a more solid comment to the OP.
I guess they were great for ease of use but nothing beats an offline generated paper wallet for security :D

I find the Ledger Nano S a little fidgety to operate - especially the cable!
That is true. You have to kind of push against the opposite side from the mini-usb spot, but I'm otherwise sold on it.

Maybe I need to move on electrum
It's such a great wallet - I'm already awaiting the Bitcoin Cash version too :)
