Steemit Goals: What are your Steemit Goals?

It's always very interesting to know how Steemians accross the globe are making efforts to support one another and thrive on Steemit. Our efforts can be made much more easier if we set ourselves some goals or objectives and this explains why in this post, i want to talk about Steemit Goals

Goal?

A goal is an idea of the future or desired result that a person or a group of people envision, plan and commit to achieve. People endeavor to reach goals within a finite time by setting deadlines. (Wikipedia)

What are Steemit Goals?

Steemit Goals are short or long term steemit plans or things steemians want to achieve on Steemit within a particular time frame.
Steemit Goals are very important because they help Steemians know what to do, when to do it, how to do it as well as be able to evaluate their actions.
These goals can be about;

1. Achieving a reputation a certain reputation.
2. Acquiring followers and following
3. Accumulating Steem Power (SP).
4. Commenting on posts
5. Upvoting posts
6. Resteeming posts
7. Acquiring wealth
8. Investing in Steem
9. Starting a charitable project on Steemit
10. Promoting Steemit, etc

These goals can be about anything related to accelerating the Steemian's growth.

How to set Steemit Goals

The first thing to know about setting goals is that goals are SMARTER: meaning;
Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Real,
Time bound
Exciting
Rewarding.

Specific

What do you want to blog about on Steemit? I'll tilt this towards passion. Its easy to blog on Steem when you know what you want to blog about and it's easiest when you blog about your passion. Know your Steem purpose and focus your energy on it.

Measurable

Goals are time bound. For instance, i will comment on 25 posts every week. This means my weekly commenting goal is 25 comments per week.

Attainable

Don't be too excited when setting yourself goals. Set targets that you can achieve. For instance, i will make 3 comments every day based on my resource credits and the time i have available to blog on Steemit.

Real

If your goals aren't real, they will be unattainable. This implies you should be realistic when setting yourself goals and ask very tough questions. Those living in Bamenda, the North West Region of Cameroon should factor the realities of life in Bamenda such as frequent power cuts, irregular internet and 'temple run' as a result of gunshots. These realities will guide them in setting real goals.

Time

How long do you want to take to achieve your goals steemit goals? Are the goals dail, weekly, monthly or annual goals?

Exciting

When you set specific, measurable, attainable, real and time bound goals, you realize your life becomes exciting coz you are eager to achieve your goals. You can add more exciting by adding some fun within your steemit goalsgoals

Rewarding

Besides the rewards you will get from achieving your steemit goals, you can go further and reward yourself. For instance, you could get yourself a bottle of drink after commenting on 30 posts per week. When you reward yourself, you become motivated to do more.

That's it about being SMARTER. Now lets look at some of the things to do to set some Steemit Goals.

To set Steemit Goals is very simple if you know exactly what you want to Steem about (the thing you want to blog about on Steemit). All you need to do is to try to provide answers to the following questions;

1. How many comments do I want to make daily, monthly, etc?
2. How many upvotes can my resource credits permit me to validate?
3. Who are my favorite authors?
4. What can I resteem?
5. How many contests should I participate in daily, weekly, etc?
6. Do I have a posting or blogging Calendar?
7. What reputation score do I want to achieve?
8. How many persons do I want to follow me and how many persons will I follow?
9. How much Steem power, Steem and SBD to I look forward to having within a particular time frame?

When you try to answer these questions, steeming becomes easy and it will be easier to evaluate your steem activity.
