RE: In Response to Shayne's Post - A Tale Of Two SteemIts.
You could at least upvote yourself so I can upvote you. I had to burn through some of my @whatsup charity dollars just so I could upvote you with my massive 78 steem power at 3.3%. lol I do have principles when it comes to not wasting my votes. lol
I find it hard to believe they couldn't have come up with an ap to run voting bots. You like the autovoter thing don't you? That is a bid bot scheme. I won't use that thing because it uses some votes.
Sorry for using a bid bot on you. OK maybe I'm not. lol ;)
I am still figuring things out. I have done a TON of math calculations while I have been on steemit. lol The 25% curation thing does suck though. Right now my account seems to be doing pretty good but we shall see. It feels like I am the most motivated user on this platform. I self upvote every single time and promote every single one of my posts and I refuse to waste a single upvote even if it is a 3.3% upvote with my 78 steem power. lol Seems like I should get cut off from voting pretty soon but it is almost time for bed anyways.
Yeah, selfvoting was part of that hardfork, too.
When i have extra vote power i vote my comments with two cents or less, i thought to give a curation reward, but now ill have do it to salvage them.
I guess ill have to play with steemworld's sp simulator to find out what the minimum sp is to not get rounded down in the math.
Ive got an account with low sp, @antisocialists.
Oh I thought you could always self vote. The minimum payout is .02. 1 cenr upvores are worthless. You can use steem rocks and math, I'd recommend 3 cent upvotes in case steem price tanks.
You could self vote but the n2 made voting others more valuable by stacking votes exponentially.
Now you get the same regardless if self voting or voting others.
Hopefully the new way works out better in the end. I think it might but hard to say.
