Interesting post. I agree with you, sometimes we get this kind of spam. As a recent come to steemit, I consider the important thing to do in this media is to post articles, videos, photos of quality regardless of the popularity that can get. Nevertheless it is quite hard for a newbie to be noticed by the people with large steempower.

I understand the difficulties of the possibility of a newbie getting noticed. However, there are ways to overcome these challenges. I could help find ways to creatively promote very good posts of newbies/red fish. The forthcoming hardfork 19 will address the issue of visibily for everyone. If you do not have large steempower, build a very large reputation. The upvote and follow are very well appreciated.
