Why Am I Here, Why Steemit?
I'm feeling very lost this morning. I feel like I've been struggling here because though this is a community, I have not yet found my tribe.
I know, I'm so very new here. It took me ages to find my tribe on FB. But I know how to engage on FB. People just saying Hi 👋 can be great.
The feeling I get here on Steemit is that your posts should be thoughtful, progressive, and engaging; while I love that idea and concept, I struggle to find the humor & light-heartedness here that I see on FB and I sometimes need that break in between all the heavy topics here...
I'm just having a hard time coming up with daily content to grow an audience to begin with.
I made a bad attempt yesterday, that took me hours to write, and somehow still came off completely different then how it sounded & started in my head. 😕...
No question that the platforms are very different. Steemit seems to be changing my style of interaction on social media. Happily that change seems to be positive and fostering greater openness. It seems to be the same for other FB Friends who have come over to Steemit. Perhaps the blog like platform just makes that naturally happen. Openness is not always easy. Some Silly Time spent elsewhere may be a good tonic.
