In general, the idea is good.
But... do not overestimate the ability of a few 30-50 SBD prizes to move noticeably the prices on the global market. This is like a spoon of water into an ocean. To make this scheme attractive , majority of (potential) participants should understand ALL the benefits of having higher SP steam power . To me it is not completely clear. Does having higher steem-power helps to harvest more rewards from the same amount of upvotes? How much? In what degree? Does it help to attract new followers faster? In what degree? How exactly the SP delegation process works? How many steemians have perfect understanding of it? Questions, questions....to which very few of us could probably answer right and comprehensive
Good point. Answering to you.... I know it is only a spoon of water into an ocean but my idea has 2 different points... increase the reward and decentralise the SP giving delegated SP to other people but owning it anyway.
If you have more SP your vote worth more and will reward you or the people you up vote more. You will get more curation reward as well.
For example with my 5million of Vest power I can give 3 cents for every up vote.
My idea is a draft that can be used and modified giving a great result.
