Snow Day

So here in good ol’ Maryland, we’re getting the most snow we’ve seen in a while.
Now—no offense to the folks up in the mountains—but we’re not from up there.

We decided to head out anyway. A short walk through it, up to the local WaWa.
If you’re not from the East Coast, you’ll have to look that one up.

The wind was driving crystalline flakes sideways—like baby darts.
Mother Nature had the unfair advantage on this one.

It was just the boys—my sons.

We’re all pasty white and red-faced—genes straight from the highest Caucasus.
There’s a silver lining, though: as long as the ice doesn’t knock the power out, we’re good.

Otherwise… It’s going to be a long weekend.
