This is the first piece I took time for reading after signing up for Steemit today, to check what it was all about -- I have been disillusioned with most other social networks in the past and don't use any currently, but I really think this could be something else entirely. I think I might write about it.

That aside, I really feel the points you have made here are timeless and apply irrespective of the platform, a sort of general life wisdom, so I will keep those in mind as I interact here. I also checked out your profile and see that you have resteemed worthwhile content, so I followed you. Hoping to make the best out of this community and contribute something of my own!
