RE: The Key To Steemit Success: Helping Others....We Need To Unite
Totally agree with this. We all need to just get out there and vote and comment, vote and comment, vote and comment....
That's what makes the steem flow.
I'm trying to focus on the homesteading community. To keep as many people there as possible engaged and active.
I really want to help find ways of improving the retention rate on steemit. I did a post yesterday looking at steemit members in Wales (where I am based) - less than 20% retention.
We need to actively support each other to keep people onboard. Currently we have to recruit 5 new members for every one that will stick around. Clearly not good.
I would say 20% retention is probably pretty good. If that was the overall stat for steemit, we would be at about 90K active users....a huge step up from where we are now.
That is true. That would seem to just about correspond with the Active Users per Month figure (c 81K) on @arcange 's stats :
So that might suggest 20% is about right overall.
It is a shame we can't get the figure higher - so much wasted effort for all the dropouts.
