RE: Not Posting as Often, Because of Karma

Hi Paul
I like that you are thinking about the platform and don't want to abuse it. I don't know if I agree entirely with your definition of karma though, it feels a little heavy.

I mean perhaps you're right and there's some universal accounting force that is making sure we never get too much or not enough. It's certainly true that we have to give this body back which we just borrowed from the dirt. It's a temporary loan, and everything about our earthly experience is a gift and a blessing in that sense.

But perhaps it's not just a case of balance, and it's more a case of "what I embody and believe will be represented by my reality". So if we believe that it has to be this perfect balance then that's the way it is. I'm more inclined to the optimistic view that the abundance of this life is far greater than we understand. I think that we live under an artificial or conditioned yoke of poverty, when abundance is actually our natural state.

Anyhow just some thoughts that your article inspired.
Love your work man

I used the term 'karma' because it seems to be a word that suggests rewards and punishments, but I think karma is really just all that we experience, and don't really see karma as necessarily an accounting force, but maybe like an accurate mirror of our thoughts and actions. I think my definition of karma would be simplified down to being everything that we experience in life-- good or bad-- with that experience being the current reaction to some previous acts. Possibly like an echo of our own voice returning to our ears will still sound like our voice, and if the words were heavy when they were sent out, they will still be heavy when they return.

Actually you describe the thing that I call karma with "what I embody and believe will be represented by my reality". That encompasses it all, really, and corresponds with any version of karma that I know of. It's 'as above, so below' in a physical dance with the mind.

Thanks for expanding the ideas!

This sounds really true what you're saying - that everything we send out comes back in some form but perhaps in a different costume. The catch being that we didn't realize we had a voice in the first place (well I personally didn't with a past in deep matrix unconsciousness). I think I found it a little confusing catching painful boomerangs that I didn't realise I put out there 😂.

Would you say that some kind of 'transcendent' activity is the key to changing your whole karmic dynamic?

Yes, that 'not knowing we have a voice' is the theme of a lot of my little fiction tales, with the world as a mirror, reflecting everything back to the observer. We human Earthlings really don't think much about how powerful we are!

I wonder if 'transcendent' is a word for science and physics that are not fully grasped yet, but for my karmic dynamic, I keep in mind that nothing is free, so I am vigilant about making sure that I don't take things that don't belong to me. Also, I learned to accept my good karma when it returns to me in the form of gifts and kind words from others, those who are balancing things out in their own ways.
