Spam? What's up with all the spam comments lately?

What is going on with all the spam lately? It seems like every thread has tons of people just spamming the same comments over and over. Any time I see them I flag them but it seems like there is a huge influx of them as of late.

    It's bloody annoying and I think the more people that do it the more idiots copy them.

    Seems to be gathering speed recently. Luckily we have a group of accounts, human and AI to deal with this spam/reward pool rape!
