STEEMIT NEWBIES

in #steemit7 years ago

I have come to discover that the STEEMIT NEWBIES joins with excitement, zeal and determination to rise from being a STEEMIT crayfish to becoming something reasonable through content creation and curation in his field of choice!

Before long, he sees himself swimming in whale and shark infested STEEMIT sea and becomes discouraged because growth is not determined by hard work!

Just like the contemporary society we live in, those in the middle class of society makes it so difficult for those in the lower class to climb up to meet them in the middle class!
So also, those in the upper class breaks the bridge leading to the upper class and makes it almost impossible for those in the middle class to grow to upper class.

This is the origin of crime, violence and all the shortcuts. Everyone wants to protect themselves and maintaining the status quo.
People forget that the only constant thing is CHANGE. Trying to fight change creates undesirable but destructive friction.

You can agree with me that it is this conservative attitudes that has given rise to every kind of crime, shortcuts and corruption in the society. The society has created blockades and people are looking for shortcuts.

A lot of fraudulent links are being created here and there because STEEMIT has no provision for the newbies to grow seamlessly.

Nobody upvotes you because they gain nothing by upvoting or commenting or resteeming your blog since you don't have SP.
Besides, how will your blog or content be seen? Who will promote your content?

I wish those whales should find a system to grow the newbies!
A deliberate program for growth or else with time, people's zeals will grow weak as they keep seeing their wallet month after month with no significant growth. They write, nobody upvotes, no one even cares to read!

I suggest that niches like photography, Christianity, STEEMIT related posts, religion, poetry and so on should organize themselves and promote their contents by up-voting themselves, encourage great contents, set standards!

I know not many will even come accros this post and since I am nobody yet, it may not be worth it.

I also suggest that someone will take it upon himself to teach us the NEWBIES in a very simple way how to use BOT, how to lease SP, how to even buy SP from the open market with credit card if need be.
If my observation does not make sense, discountenance please!

Thanks! I am highly honoured!
I am also encouraged!
I wish I can make a suggestion. But i dont know where to.
Thanks!

I don't vote to get anything back. I support the content I want to see here. I think you need to build a following of people who share your interests so they will keep coming back. 'Voting circles' won't get you far. Engage with people whose posts you enjoy without asking for anything. Leave it to them to decide based on what you write. It can take time, but it's worth it. I made very little in my first few months.

You said it all @steevc. Thanks for throwing more light on this issue especially for us newbies

Thanks! That you had the same experience is very instructive!
I thought there is something I should do that I am not doing. Thanks again.

It is harder to get noticed now as there are far more users, but it should be the best content that gets rewarded. You have to stand out.

Thanks! I will keep trying my best. Thanks a lot.
