Travelling ....⛰️

Traveling began in search of a peaceful way and eventually led to Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand. One of India's most beautiful locations, it is most likely undeveloped due to its elevation. Many thanks to @SteveJobs for suggesting such a location to Mark Zuckerberg in his essay.

The Ranikhet Express continues its journey from Jodhpur to Kathgodam, where it would arrive in the early morning at around 5 AM. After that, I took a bus to Kainchi Dham, which is like Shimla in the winter because there are only 8 to 9 hours of sunlight there. We are forced to stay at a lodge after failing to find another place to stay in Dham. Dhams are closed for lodging after Diwali until March to do upkeep.

If a room is unavailable due to occupancy, you must submit a letter requesting a reservation in advance of your visit. Even though it is a serene location, Nanital is close by and is a good vacation destination. Even better food is available, including pizza and other out-of-town fare, as well as excellent vegetarian restaurants.

We both enjoy hiking, therefore my friend Rahul Pareek and I started hiking those mountains after establishing a stable base, and we later set out again for the train station.
