The more weight (Steem Power) that someone has when they upvote you, the more you'll earn from that upvote. All upvotes are not equal.

Right @ripper234, you could get 100 votes from users having 3 Steem Power (the ammount your account is getting for free these days) and you wouldn't even reach a dollar, must likely not even 20 cents
