Hmmm, it really makes you think! I read the post you linked to and it said the goal of STEEM/BTC is .00423
That sounds absurd to me, as that would mean STEEM/USD = $65 at today's prices. If STEEM/BTC is .00423 and STEEM/USD = $14, that would imply that the price of bitcoin is $3300, which I just don't see happening again.
But hey, what if it does hit $14. And what if it does eventually hit $65! That would mean a lot of good for the world!
a 14 dollar rise would change a lot of lives around the world, mostly poor countries as you said and i can't wait to see this happen, thanks a lot i followed and resteemed this post
Coming from the Philippines, if those parameters would ever come to fruition, it would be a great help to countries like us where underemployment and scarcity runs rampant. If those richly blessed gets more richer, atleast we have a slice of the wonderful pie, and it would be massively appreciated as long as we do our part of creating good content and making beautiful connections to Steemians all over the globe.
Cheers Mr @rok-sivante, much love and respect from the Philippines. God bless us all! :)
This article is real food for thought. When I joined, I projected a $10 steem in two years, but the way things are moving, we may likely see it long before that.
Your stance on upvote is fair enough judging by the reason behind it. 2017 had to be shocking in pleasant surprises. I lost a lot in 2016, it seems the table had finally started to turn. Thanks for sharing this perspective that seemed to be in the distant future which may just be a few weeks from now.
Yes! very happy people, overjoyed steemeans (like me), but also oportunistic ones with a lot of spam and low quality post, and I think that's part also of the responsabilities you mentioned aside of rewarding talented bloggers.
My steem power is not much, so giving away .04 in a vote is a no brainer; we want to make friends, support promote voting good interesting post, but, as you said, giving away 75 for just one vote, that give you something to think about. It's outstandingly more than some writters get paid for article (at least in Mexico), so, maybe steemit is going to suffer from overpopulation (hopefully), but the good votes are going to scarce, and in between all that amount of (expected) good quality bloggers is going to be hard to be seen... So, as I was reading (getting over the initial excitement) all I was thinking was in Guns and Roses: Welcome to the Jungle.

He said 0.00423 is the first target, and that chart timing it to sometime late February approximately...
"May we harness this responsibility wisely, and pay forward the blessings... "

I completely agree with you.
nice article with nice thoughts. solid arguments, followed ;)
Hey, @rok-sivante, That sounds good and it may happen. steem is doing really good.
If rewards were that big I would start donating steem to newer members.
