In Jurong lived two brothers, a merchant and a soldier. The merchant was rich but most times he seeks the help of his soldier brother against his business partners.
One day Ethan the merchant had a quarrel with one of his business partner Lee, so he took Eugene the soldier along with him to beat up his fellow merchant. Having a kind heart and a peace seeking soldier, Eugene decided to listen to both parties before taking any action. After hearing from both parties he discovered that his brother was at fault so he rebuked him by asking him to pay Lee all the money he owed him.
Ethan went home and sent three million Singapore dollar to Lee. Touched by Eugene fair judgement on the issue. Lee gave Edmond a lot of gifts and cash to thank him. When the news of the Lee’s benevolence got to Ethan, he taught that his brother Eugene connived with Lee in the deal. So he made a plan on how to destroy them both. His evil plan soon leaked out and Ethan was arrested and jailed.
