The kyeikhteeyoe Pogada imageis well known and famous of Myanmar and
all over the world.It is situated at kyeikhto township,MON state.so msny
times I have reaching there and the best place for me.Briefly of history
here.our lord BUDDHAs hair was enshrined.our lord give the hair to the hermit and before he dead ,the hermit want to see the hair of BUDDHA to be safe and want to see in good position.It was the cue for Thagyarmin king of nats to come down and help.He scored the boundless sea beds to look for a stone that looked like the hermits cranium.He found one and
the king ,feeling he had to do his part in the great deed,asked thagyarmin
to allow him to carry the stone in his ship.the stone,the one on which the
pagoda stood,wherein the BUDDHAS hair was enshrined.It is kyauk - than-ban stone.And the hermit object this one and choose another one. The another one is suitable for hermit and now ,we can see it the best stone for keeping safe of BUDDHAs hair
