As a new "Steemer" (?? is that the proper term?), I immediately felt a sense of community here which came directly from the feel of the writing. That is a most amazing admission for me because I have only just begun to drag myself out of the past and into the present. I have complained that the Internet is too impersonal but have done nothing to make it more welcoming and inviting. My bad. But now that I'm about to begin, please excuse this very dumb question. What does it mean to "verify" and why? If that query is just too "unbelievable" for anyone to answer, I'll try to Google it. Thank you and best wishes.
