LOL People in my University Got Caught Mining Bitcoins

A few years ago, some students who knew about bitcoin came together and decided to use one room full of computers to mine bitcoins. They got away with it for some time until the University realized computers in a particular room were consuming more power than usual. Lucky for them they didn't get into serious trouble as there were no mentions of mining in the student charter rules.

The funny thing is that I had that idea in mind and the way I found out was when student charter rules were explained during the induction stage of my course. Damn lol.
