RE: Applications Now Open for the Steem Onboarding Translation and Video Team

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

Have you considered using a "Whiteboard Animation Software" to produce your videos? I have always considered making STEEM video tutorials using some sort of Whiteboard Animation Software. Life got in the way and I never pursued it. I think it can help to make the videos much more simple to understand with whiteboard animation.

If you use a whiteboard animation in your video, you are more likely to script the video better. Translations will become easier and and people will connect better to it. For instance, a video of a male Caucasian talking with a Korean female dubbed voice would not really connect to the audience. With whiteboard animation software, you eliminate that visual distraction and the viewer can connect with the voice. You also eliminate other visual distractions that you are not aware of and the video will have a professional feel.

This is a great suggestion and one that @anomadsoul and I will need to discuss. You bring up a lot of great points on the value of whiteboard videos for comprehension of content and a more professional feel.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this recommendation @socky.

I saw the YouTube channel and watched all the videos. It is looking good. I can't wait until to see a website.

^^

@steemonboarding, please do this. I would love to get models to covert to STEEM, but need simple videos to explain STEEM. In the modeling world, things are fast pace and attention spans are short. In an Instagram and twitter society, simple short videos with no distraction is the way to capture attention of a huge audience and to models who have huge following.

Thank you so much for your feedback @modelcoinmc! Socky brings up some great points on the value of whiteboard videos and it is helpful to hear your thoughts on it as well.
