Facebook Failed With Steemit Takeover - FAKE NEWS

I recently got an article send which was quite interesting to read at first sight.  

The social network Facebook failed with a multi-billion-dollar takeover on the young blogging platform Steemit according to press reports. Steemit Inc. roughs up the blogging world since 4 months. ( aha, 4 months ? Alright let´s go on ) Remitted funds happen after the blogger got many votes by other users of the platform. The payment comes in the crypto currency called STEEM ( So far, so good ) Now they are talking about how Steem had increased in the last year up to 4.89$ but dropped in the value later on. ( Why isn´t anyone talking about the price going up since the last few weeks? ) A look at the user growth figures shows that Steemit has generated more users in 3 months than Facebook in the early days. ( When I have a look at the statistics, Steemit really had increased much more user growth in the early days than facebook. But I don't give any guarantees if this diagram is correct )  

There is written that Mark Zuckerberg was busy so they couldn't reach him but someone near his tight environment gave informations instead.  Facebook made Steemt Inc. an offer worth 1.6 billion dollars but Dan Larimer and Ned Scott, the founders of Steemit, rejected Facebook´s offer. ( Big News which they are talking about!!! ) Dan Larimer should have shown that Steemit Inc. had bigger and „better“ offers by Alipay from China and Line Inc. from Korea.  

I was in shock while reading this article. I will link it below but it´s in german thats why I translated the important lines for you in english.  It was published today on the 20th of May 2017 on a little page called 24aktuelles.com. Never heard of this website so I did a little research on it. And here we go - it´s a website where you are able to create fake news but who the hell would write something like this?

They point out that all news on this site are fake and just made out of joking. But I had people who believed these articles  and then shocked me with scary messages about important topics like political themes etc. ...

Who has the time to create such dumb articles instead of being productive? Anyway I am glad that I do not trust any of these sites and really make sure what is the truth before I share or post important news to anyone else. 

Note - Please be aware of what you believe or not. I just know too many who would share articles like that just because they trust what is written on "News Pages".
