Impressive. This is the level of adoption that all cryptocurrencies need. While your journey required a few extra steps to convert STD -> BTC -> Fiat, one day this will be a much more seamless process.

I like to think of how, when the internet was first coming around the consumer in the 90s and ISPs like AOL and Compuserv were used as gateways or crutches to access the web. The middle-man (AOL) was ultimately cut out and it increased the experience of browsing the internet astronomically.

Hopefully, over time, we can eliminate the need to convert any/all cryptocurrencies to fiat in order to use it. Conversions to fiat incur fees, whether it is from an ATM or an exchange.
