How to Reliably Host Images for your Steemit Posts Quick Easy & Free! - Imgur.com - Steemit Tips
Hello Steemarino's!
So you want to reliably host your images quick, easy and free eh?
Lets get started!
(The following may seem like a lot of steps, however it literally takes 8-15 seconds!)

Step One:
First we need to visit one of the most reliable image hosting services ever known to man!
Visit https://imgur.com
Step Two:
Select "Upload Images"
Step Three:
Select "Browse" to upload an image from your computer, or alternatively you can choose to input a url and imgur will pull it directly from the internet.
Step Four:
Navigate to the folder your image is located in and double click the image. Your image will now start uploading to imgur.
Step Five:
Hover your mouse over the image's upper right hand corner and select "Get Share Links"
Step Six:
Click "Copy" on the "Markdown" Link in the dialogue box that pops up.
Once you copy that link you will have to following saved on your clipboard:
[Imgur](http://i.imgur.com/i7Orvgt.jpg)
One More Step!
Now we simply paste the link to our steemit post (Ctrl+V) and add an ! to the beginning and we are done!
Example:
(Alternatively we can also choose to only paste the actual url of the image and steemit will render it automatically)
Example:
http://i.imgur.com/i7Orvgt.jpg
And Thats It!
You now have an image reliably hosted that was quick, easy and free to upload! It really is a quick process in reality!

I was indeed looking for a comment like this one and going to post one if there wasn't any.
Let's support the Steemit ecosystem. Use steemimg .com for images, use steem.ly for link shortening and all the other tools created especially for steemit. Some have made libraries with all the links/apps available, look them up.
Came here hoping for a quicker way than this, which is what I do now =(

Yeah, if there is a quicker way I would love to know. I could host my own images and it would be pretty quick, however not everyone has that option.
One point I would like to make is that this is also supposed to be "reliable".
There are sites out there which are quicker but they come with pop ups and experience more downtime than imgur.

Ossamma, is there a special format to get the images to show on steemit? Ive used the basic markdown tags but I havent seen steemit render an image at this point when the link is from IPFS.
