Steem undelegate to steemmillionaire

in #steemit7 years ago

This morning I woke up and saw this strange message:

When I realized that my SP also dropped by 27.826 SP, which was the power that I received when my account was created, a big smile came on my face: the @steemmillionaire account is entering a different league, the league of the guys big enough to take care by their own fate.

It's like a child entering the Age of Majority, the moment when "minors cease to be considered children and assume legal control over their persons, actions, and decisions, thus terminating the control and legal responsibilities of their parents or guardian over them".

We need a big virtual Steem party to celebrate, isn't it?

Wow. Congratulations. What can you do with this new privilige? We do need a party.

What does it means?

When account are created, @steem account is delegating a small amount of Steem Power. It is like a loan, with no interest, that can be revoked at any time. This is needed because the allowed bandwidth in the Steem blockchain is proportional with the SP of each account. An account with zero SP, would not be allowed to add any information to the blockchain. After a while, when the accounts reached a certain SP to take care by itself, the delegated SP is revoked, returned to the @steem account and used for newcomers.
