I know how you feel. Social media in general can be addictive as you try to keep up with what is happening, but the money aspect adds an extra dimension. I find myself refreshing pages in hope of some updates when I should be doing other things. I keep checking my stats. I'm making a few dollars, but it's not really life changing as it stands. I appreciate for others that any extra dollars are really useful and I see some trading it out to pay bills. I think that's how Steem should be working to change lives. It shouldn't just be a few getting rich. I do feel a need to spread my votes around, but time limits how much I can do that. This is partly why I delegate. Steem is a fascinating social experiment that I want to be part of, but it shouldn't take over my life.
Seeing that pile of money increase is what it is. Not that I'm using it.., I just want it to increase in size. But for what purpose? I wish I had answers.
Well...
