How Do You Feel About Steemit? Take The Anonymous Steemit Survey

Every person has a unique personality and a unique experience with Steemit.
Some people are motivated by engagement and status. Some are primarily motivated by knowledge and curiosity. Others are motivated by power and money. Some cherish autonomy over all other aspects of life. Most of us are an amalgamation of different traits and motivations. Every person has a unique composition and a different experience within a system.
There are a thousand different opinions about Steemit, but there's actually very little data about how people genuinely feel about Steemit. In order to get the community's honest opinions about Steemit, I created an anonymous survey on Survey Monkey. There's a setting with Survey Monkey that allows it to be anonymous, meaning it doesn't collect IP addresses. I chose that anonymous setting so people would feel completely free to be honest.
I did not do this at the request of anyone in Steemit, I did it because I think it would be a helpful insight into what the community here actually feels. I believe it can helpful in providing feedback that would otherwise not be visible. For newcomers, it's pretty difficult to have an opinion get to anyone.
There are 10 questions in total and most utilize the comment boxes so you are free to write open-ended responses. I just tested it out, and it works.
Let's find out what the community thinks about Steemit.
To take the anonymous survey titled, How Do You Feel About Steemit? go here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B9YQLX3
I'll post the results in a different post after a day or so.
The survey should take less than five minutes to complete. The survey doesn't ask any personally identifying information, either.
Thank you for your attention today. If you think I missed an important question, please add your comment below. The survey can only have 10 questions, but if you think some different questions need to be asked, let us all know.

I just completed the survey. Thanks for putting it together! Anxious to see the results :)
Nice tools survey
I hope this will inspire Dan & Ned to propose this kind of survey in a near future ^^
Survey is filled :)
This is a great idea.
Survey completed.
it will be great to have some data on this.
Not sure how a survey where everyone can write different answers instead of choosing options, can be combined for proper results afterwards.
I used to be a market research consultant and analyst.
From my perspective (opinion) - Having a questionnaire this open will be a nightmare to aggregate the different responses and even when you do, they won't fit nicely in to divisible responses. There will be lots of overlap and grey areas.
The survey is a good idea, but if there are a lot of people who respond the data will take a huge amount of time to clean (which can introduce subjective biases) and will have limited usefulness, because you can't cleanly determine relationships between answers. i.e did respondents who thought they didn't have a voice also see the reward system as negative etc.
@stellabelle Look what just arrived in the post this morning :) Afraid I am suffering from "bedhead"... as in up all night! Anyhooo... survey done and dusted and can't wait to get reading this, Cheers!

thanks for documenting receiving my book! That makes it more meaningful somehow! It was fun for me to learn where everyone was from! Only one American in the bunch, which for some reason surprised me! It seems that most of my friends here on Steemit are not from the USA......I feel a bit like an outsider here....considering I don't watch sports or reality tv shows..... Thanks again for participating! That was pretty fast actually....
I haven't had a TV since 2007, think we are all a tad 'outsiders' here. Not a bad thing :)
Its a great idea! Will be taking the survey this afternoon. Will you share the results with us in another post @stellabelle or can we see those results on the survey itself? Thank you!
I'll post the results in a different post. Hopefully it will get a fair amount of responses.
