@jyoti-thelight Today I am excited to participate in SLC-S30 Week 2, where we explore Traditional Steam Cooking. For this assignment, I prepared a healthy and delicious dish called Raagi Puttu, also known as Steamed Finger Millet Cake. 🌾🥥

Raagi is a very nutritious grain rich in calcium, fiber, and iron. Steaming is one of the healthiest cooking methods because it keeps the nutrients intact while making the food soft and easy to digest. This traditional dish is popular in many South Asian households and is often enjoyed for breakfast or as a light meal.

✨ Ingredients:
• Raagi (Finger Millet) flour
• Grated coconut
• Salt
• Water
• Sugar or banana (optional for serving)

👩‍🍳 Preparation Steps:
1️⃣ Mix the raagi flour with a little salt.
2️⃣ Sprinkle water slowly and mix until the flour becomes slightly moist and crumbly.
3️⃣ In a puttu maker or steamer, layer grated coconut and raagi mixture.
4️⃣ Steam the mixture for about 8–10 minutes.
5️⃣ Serve warm with sugar, banana, or curry according to your taste.
