I am one of the victims. I am sure many innocents are there too.
Disagreement on rewards is a valid reason, potential payout is a consensus among Steem users over how given content should be rewarded. If it's upvoted regardless of a value, or it's value is (subjectively) perceived as too high, then it's ok to adjust it accordingly. It's nothing personal.
