I noticed such a thing in the community. The more you have a rating, and the more you are popular - the more spam in your messages. I have a small reputation. But I already see many comments, like ,, Nice post, Thank you) ''.
I posted the post 30 seconds ago. Of course this is not a book, but you just can not read it in 30 seconds. Is this spam babe?))
Hardly in the long run such people will have a good reputation. People with large sums on your wallet can only lower you even lower. Nobody likes spam. Of course it is in any social network, it's clear.

I totally agree. I've noticed that just posting in certain categories will get you tons of spam comments. Unless you have something to say beyond 'nice post's, 'following' or 'upvoted' I really don't want to read it.
You Deserve an Upvote... I am also watching here that people upvote those who has good reputation points with out reading and ignore with low reputation point holders. that's not fair
I read your post! :-) I read everything I comment and vote on. Like my profile page says, Daily Manual Curator. I think some people vote and comment with bots. I do all my work here the old fashioned way, I READ it all myself and decide what to do, no bots! :-)

@svitsat, this is a long overdew post, I am glad someone is addressing the spammers. It takes time and thought to create a good post and is very disappointing to see someone come and comment something completely contrary to the subject or something shallow. Yesterday I observed a steemian go through every new post and respond with just the author's name... are you kidding me?
Steemit will become what we make it, right now it is better than other social medias because of the value in the content and the compensation.... if the content is not good then one of Steemit core values will diminish...
O I was thinking the same thing the other day - wonder how many people actually take the time to read - some people just get upvoted on nonsense and others get missed with great content
I see that often myself so I see where you are coming from, I read posts and then try to comment. The spam does get old though!

i've been contemplating whether its even worth posting quality content, or just spam out million posts, due to the fact that posts have like 3veiws and 33upvotes, meaning: theres no incentive to actually make quality posts... and its mostly about how big following you have established, because people don't actually read anything or even view stuff.... its quite bizarre

I always read before I upvote. I can't help it. If I don't like it, you don't get an upvote. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?
