. Researchers can't believe their eyes when they open the tomb.
The tomb is located inside the Twelfth Temple in the ruins of the ancient Maya city of Palenque. Excavations were carried out to discover the order of construction of the temple and the methods used in its construction. Works began in 1973 by a team led by Georgi Acosta. He searched for what he called the Tomb Room.
