RE: Do People Actually Read Your Posts On Steemit? (And More Importantly, Do They NEED To?)

in #steemit8 years ago

I wish I could say I read every post I upvote. I feel bad about all the hard work I know people are putting into their stuff.

But I feel better knowing that, when I upvote their stuff, I'm helping them. Though if I read more posts, then I would be in a better situation to help out new, undiscovered authors.

It's a tough problem.

Yeah, it's really an issue in these early days of the platform. Discovery of new authors requires wading through the much, so to speak. Why do it when you can go to where good content is guaranteed? Yet we all know it's food for the platform. Still, you can depend on being discovered eventually if you or the effort in, and there are a lot of good minnow projects to counterbalance this fact of the platform.
