RE: Why "Redflag Sub-Layers" should be implemented in steemit as soon as possible! [Proposal]
Great ideas. Requiring a reason for the downvote would be helpful, and totally out the vindictive downvoters. That has been suggested multiple times though, and ignored. Having others vote to agree\disagree with the curation flag would also solve a lot of the problems downvote brigades can cause. It would add a big layer of complexity to their new reputation algorithm though, so it probably won't be added.
We just need simple edit\delete commands back.. The ability to edit in ownership\author links and delete flagged items would solve about half the problem posts that are permanently stuck here now.
I'm really enjoying the dialogue here. I'm an old guy and am lacking a lot on the tech side so I really rely on members like you to fast track this part of my education. If you check my blog, where you'll see the stories that I write you'll notice that I'm a big advocate of posting and up voting quality. I believe that by adding value, as little as it may be we add great value collectively. Thanks for your input @tinfoilfedora!
