Pretty awesome new look & feel of Steemit.com - will we see a totally new user interface and appearance of our loved platform? What do you think about the new dark blue Post-Button?
Free money?
I am only confused about the definition of "free money" - what does that mean? Tax free? Marketing phrase?
Steemit is way, way overdue for a facelift. The current interface looks very amateury and simple.
It could be improved indeed - sure they are working on it as we see - and given you get a fantastic up vote by the master himself aka @sneak there must be something in the working right :-)?
Wow, I just noticed that. Thanks @sneak. I would image with a Reddit-like interface, improved post sorting and custom filters, many upcoming content creators on Steemit will have a much better chance of being discovered and rewarded.
Nice post loving the change... I much prefer it to other social media sites.. Simplicity is key hope they keep this in mind going forward and with all and every other change. Cheers ;)

I hope they will do a complete remake of the user interface with better options to follow people / favorite user list and we need a functioning search bar as well.
I was surprised when I saw it as well. I'm in two minds about it to be honest. They're only subtle changes, but it feels like an entirely new experience. I guess the FREE MONEY is just a marketing ploy to draw users in. It is quite confusing, since you're giving up time and effort to earn, so it's not entirely free.
Have just noticed it. I am old and usually dont like change but I am fine with that :-)

Am I the only one not liking this button? 😂 I find it way too big and square, and it just doesn't look good next to the round profile picture.
I tend to agree, it does seem to dwarf my profile picture ...
There are also other noticeable changes if you are keen enough!
I can also see the "FREE MONEY" has been quickly changed to "FREE STEEM"
Steemit is having a UI overhaul.
Thanks for spotting even more. Replacing "Free Money" is a good approach.
It would be nice if they fix all the wallet UI bugs. Like how it shows a URL from a transfer in the "Claim Rewards" operation but only visible from your end. Other people see it "blank" like it should be.
This new change also made some bug with transfers. I transferred $65 from one account to another account that had $5. The 65 showed up and the balance updated on the remote account to 70 but then reverted back like nothing happened. Not a good feeling when you are moving money around. Likely due to the on-going node issues, but I've also noticed things are much slower today on the site. The node issues usually mostly affect third-party services, but I have noticed opening posts and making comments can hang for well over a minute.
One thing I'd really love to see fixed is whatever voodoo is in the post/comment editor that fouls up Grammarly and makes it reverse any changes when you hit post or just wait a second.
Hmm? - "Free Money!" as opposed to "Imprisoned Money!" or "Captive Money!" I'm wondering...
How about "Monetize your Life! Sign up Now!" ... something like that?
wohooo a new major change :) but if it says only for money the users are only up for that and the things get wrong there at the start
