Steem School Episode 73 - The Blog Schedule
Hello my friends & welcome to the next SteemSchool episode.
I have learned a lot in the last 30 days as I have reached some "roadblocks" on the way aka my total average payout didn't increase for 30 days.
When you reach a limit you get creative to overcome it and I have found multiple ways to increase my total average payout.
The method I am talking about today is called a "Blog Schedule".
Deciding What, Where & When You Want to Publish
I highly recommend to publish every day. If you have already gathered an audience or got a big wallet you can outsource some work if you cannot post every day.
I highly recommend to do that as you have to post here every day on Steemit if you want to build an audience here, it is that simple.
You need to decide what you want to publish, where & when.
Let's answer first what you want to publish. You already know what you are publishing but do you also know that you can also publish it on other Steem based platforms in a different format?
You can publish memes of your niche on Memeit, you can upload videos on DTube, you can livestream on DLive, you can upload podcasts & music on Dsound and make Steem Dollars & Steem Power like that.
Get creative and publish your content in different formats and on different platforms to gather the infamous upvotes of Dlive, DTube and Dsound.
That will increase your total average payout a lot.
Now you need to decide by yourself where & when you want to publish. I recommend to upload your content on all the mentioned platforms and to upload them at a time when your readers are the most active.
Finding out when your readers are most active is easy. Your readers are most active when you publish which is for me between 15 and 20 CET.
Writing it all Down & The Benefits of a Blog Schedule
Now you just need to write the Schedule down. For that, I have used open office and wrote everything down (see screenshot below).
The benefits of the blog schedule are the following:
1. You save time as you already know the day before what, where & when you have to publish.
2. You will have a good overview of your schedule which will reduce worry & stress.
3. This will make sure you truly diversify your content format.
Wisdom & Knowledge
1. Outsourcing is not possible if you have no audience and no cash. That means you will have to grind every day till you have an audience.
2. Put your Blog Schedule somewhere you can easily find it (after a while you don't need to see it anymore as you will know it inside out.)
3. When you publish does not really matter, just make sure it is every damn day and optimally at your regular publish time.
4. By using Dsound, Dlive, & Dtube you dramatically increase your total average payout. Just make sure your content provides value and is well formatted.

My ultimate goal as a Steem Witness is to improve the quality on many Steem based platforms and to maintain the Steem blockchain.
If you value what I do I would be happy if you would vote for me at the bottom of the Witness voting page. Simply scroll down, enter "valorforfreedom" click on vote and that's it. If I am in the top 50 you can also just vote for me there.
You can also vote for me by clicking on the picture below with my account name in it. Afterwards you simply have to log in with Steemconnect and I will receive your vote.

Thank you for another great tip. I will spend some time researching when most of my followers tend to respond to my posts and start scheduling it for their convenience. This is just what I needed, with my Mom's declining health issues, my schedule is crazy right now. I have missed a few daily posts as a result. I was thinking about how I need to make a schedule so I can get back on track.
Take care of your mother but do not forget that you have a life too.
Thanks, I'm working on finding that balance.
This is a simple yet effective piece of advice.
Sometimes it can feel as though you are repeating yourself, with your teaching and with certain content but I must say that not everyone looks all the time yet everyone needs to learn this shit.
So like myself I would encourage you to repeat some of your lessons. Because people are lazy and they aren't going to scroll back again. Re-hashing some of the old Steemschool posts, doing a new video with some new words on the SAME subject, keeping people inspired is a constant thing.
Never mind all the new people that still need to learn those things.
I still have "26 Essential Things You Need to do on Steemit" pasted to my wall. Despite my growth stall because of all the work, I still read them bit by bit and remember what shit I need to do when I have time again and am not so exhausted.
This one falls in as an expansion to #7 Be Consistent. A Schedule will help you do this. Perfect advice.
I like it because I like making lists and shit.
Good comment as usual bro.
Pleasure man.
When I actually get the time! Tomorrow I am off from work and I am going to sleep late... it's gonna be epic!
Love the wall tapestry in the background !
Thank you sscrow. 👍
