I always used to wonder what would replace Facebook. We saw Myspace fadeout, Orkut and a bunch of social media giants just disappear.

I guess blockchain based currencies and concepts like Steemit will be the real threat to the business model Facebook works on. Will it be Steemit that replaces FB am not sure but surely something within this concept will actually be a threat to FB unless they join the game and start giving back to the users that generate the content that their ecosystem exists on.
