Eid mubarak ✨️
Eid Mubarak to everyone! 🌙
Today was the first day of Eid. Unlike our usual Eid routine, instead of going to my paternal aunt’s house, we went to my grandmother’s house because there was a dinner invitation there. The weather has been changing a lot these days sometimes it’s very cold, sometimes normal. This has been happening for the last ten days, with light rain as well. The same happened today: as soon as we reached there, it started raining and the weather turned cold.

Anyway, let’s talk about the gathering. As far as I had been told, only close family members like uncles and aunts would be there. But when we arrived, I found out that many more people were expected. I was honestly a bit shocked because such a big gathering wasn’t part of the plan. Also, I don’t usually attend large gatherings on my maternal side, so I felt a little uneasy seeing so many people.
One reason I don’t visit my maternal relatives often is that I don’t have many cousins there to spend time with, so I usually end up sitting alone. However, I do have one cousin who is my age, and I feel comfortable with her. Even though we meet very rarely, whenever we do, it feels really nice. She has such positive energy, and I truly enjoy her company.
So I invited her to come as well because I knew I would get bored otherwise and she actually came! We took pictures, talked a lot, had food, and spent time together. Because of that, today didn’t feel boring like my other Eids, and I’m really happy about that.
Eid is such a beautiful occasion where everyone comes together, and I feel that on Eid we should put all our worries, sadness, and problems aside for a while. Life is already full of struggles, and they never really end so why not take a little time to relax and feel happy? To me, that’s what Eid is truly about. ✨
Eid Mubarak 🌙
Eid always brings everyone together. I am glad that your Eid was good especially with your cousin. Although it was very different for me as you know but as everyone was there it was good. Will share soon. And about the weather, ah I remember a few days ago I went to the roof to pray and as soon as I prayed it started raining. Well, that was for a good memory.
Yes, you’re right Eid feels special with loved ones. And that rain moment sounds really peaceful and beautiful
I’ll be waiting for your post 🤍
