Definitely agree on that. Jiu Jitsu was created to be the art of war and war includes strikes,bites and everything. We can refine it to a sport or a gentle mma sparring but dont forget Helio Gracie showed techniques like breaking someones fingers if he is grabbing you on your throat and that is for sure a DQ in sport BJJ ( :D) .
