Breaking Routine and cutting the Carbs! (almost haha)
It is always great to break routine, get out and choose a "different office" for the day. Today I decided to head down the road, to Jack Black Brewery which is a local, family run craft beer brewery. The whole place has a very industrial / rustic feel, which is great for just sitting in the background and working...
They have a fantastic selection of craft beers - but as I don't drink beer, I opted for a glass of red wine instead :) along with my lunch platter of course... which is enough to keep me nibbling happy for a few hours while I tend to all my steemit goodies...
I have decided to try and cut out (most) of the carbs in my diet again, as I have been misbehaving far too frequently and its starting to show! eeeek!!! - Definitely need to resolve that before Spring arrives, and this platter (aside from the slices of french loaf and the few crackers (which I only ate one of) is a damn good start me thinks! haha :)
So technically, this is day two of me behaving myself because last night I ate butternut soup, and I am proud to say that I managed to resist having ANY bread with it, which as I am sure ALL of you know... is damn near impossible haha!!!
So... here's to a productive day
and a soon to be (hopefully) smaller waistline! LOL!!!
……
Until next time...
Much Love from Cape Town, South Africa xxx

Greetings, Linda Jayne
Really, it's very good when we get out of the rut and do something that gives us pleasure. Always being in the rut is a massive thing.
I took a look at the food you put in and, apart from those biscuits of water and salt and bread, the rest is a very protein food. However, a little carbohydrate does not hurt, it becomes a fuel to do things from day to day.
For me, the food you put in, I was more delighted with the cheeses and the meats placed hehehe. What's that green vegetable next to the cheese? I've seen selling in supermarkets here, in Pickle, but I don't know his name, nor the taste.
Thank you for posting and have a beautiful day, dear Jayne.
It is never too late to start eating healthy but you always go through the odd carbohydrate there, we must be balanced. And if that goes along with leaving a bit of the routine a lot better because we got to find it fun.
@luiselen I must say I totally agree!!!! Dont think I would ever cut them out completely, but limiting them (especially considering how much I love to eat them haha) is prooooobaby a good idea lol 😎

Looks delicious and I know exactly what you mean. I've been wanting to sort myself out and go back to my low carb self. I've just gotten into such a bad bread pattern and it always spirals from there 😭.
I can totally relate, I've been doing Keto for a long time
and preaching it because most of us are killing ourselves with
an overload of starch and carbs.( you aren't)
which is so easy to do because that's the best tasting stuff! lol
God bless ya'll down there!
@janton yeah... carbs are my TOTALLLLLL WEAKNESSS!!! lol you can keep sweets, but carbs.... love of my life lol!!! 😍😍😍
