I also believe that rewards play an important role in encouraging proper engagement. When people know that thoughtful, relevant, insightful, and genuinely helpful contributions are recognized, it gives them an additional reason to take the time to read a post carefully and contribute something valuable.

The goal should not be to reward comments simply because they are comments, but to reward the quality and value they bring to the conversation.
