Comment Challenge #16

This week edition featured, for the first time ever, a post about a newborn child. It was @petecko's son, only a couple of days old at the time the post was published. The theme for the week was of course to congratulate this newborn "prince" to this world. Is it a future Steemit Whale, a future movie star, or just a C++ developer in making??... :)

Again this week, our partnership with @davemccoy and his #newbieresteemday initiative continued. It has turned out to be a great success and I really like the way he encourages participation and provides advice to Steemit newbies. This challenge is one of the activities he recommends to his followers. As writing great comments is a very important aspect of becoming successful on Steemit, what better challenge to join than this. :)

I kept the judging to myself this week as well... 😃 I've started to get a couple of guest judges lined up, so hopefully, that will change as we move along. We had plenty of contestants again this week. Many received only a few votes, but it was exactly 5 that received more than 10 votes, so easy to sort the Top5. The following were in the Top5: @deeday31, @ayingroxie, @kneelyrac, @gracefavour and @bridgetnnenna.

Many good comments this week so it was not an easy task to pick the winners. We also had a number of excellent comments outside of the Top5. So in future editions, I will open up for the 2nd prize to be awarded to any of the comments. So it will be 100% up to the judge to choose.

1st prize this week I have awarded to @bridgetnnenna and for her lovely welcome to @petecko's prince. It had a nice touch and the comment was well formatted.
2nd prize I will award @gracefavour. It was a great comment, short and concise welcome to @petecko's son. Perfect example that there is no need to write comments long as books. The important is to get the message across.
