People often relate exercise to weight loss but there are a few studies which have shown that exercise contributes little to no effect on weight loss. One of the significant effects pose by exercise is by improving brain's function. Checkout Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor if you haven't. You will find it quite interesting.
One of the study may be against but mamy studies are in favour.
Yes exercise improves brain function and that is already mentioned.
