The Life Of Minnows

We minnows feel easily offended over little stuffs but do not blame us for that, being within the low rankmight be so frustrating at times or better still, most times. And besides, who wouldn't love to be among the VIP!?

When we leave a decently crafted comments on a whale's post and do not get a response or upvote in return, we feel bad. Really bad and highly offended. As if the whale owes us an upvote. In fact, we believe such whale owes us an upvote to begin with.

When we take our time to make a good post, we feel like the whole of the Steemit community have the responsibility of upvoting the post. We judge our posts by the amount of time it took us to make them and expect every whale to upvote the posts. But we fail to think about the amount of time, effort, dedication and consistency that it took the whales to get to where they are. We just want the end product.

When we eventually start accumulating some Steem Power, the first thing that come to our minds is how we are going to start powering down. Truth is we spend days feeling bad about the fact that we cannot power down the whole Steem Power in a matter of few hours. Trust me, thirteen weeks is too far.

What else is expected of a steemian that powers down? To use his hard-earned Steem and Steem Dollar to power up? When there are lots of Steem exchage enterprises out there waiting for us to sell our tokens for FIAT. Pardon the ditch.

How about we talk some senses into our skull, buddies?

Let us keep it up, we may as well remain minnows forever. I am a minnow too (you could see my reputation) but facing the truth does not kill, circumstances do. And reagrdless of how much the truth may hurt you, trust me, falsehood hurts much more.

I am not the best among authors. I am not one of the whales. But I am someone who loves to face the fact. I just hope we all realise this on time so w can all grow together.
