My point of view on Steemit.

Steemit is great for some reasons, not only can you get paid for your (good) contents, it's also on a blockchain and therefore free of regulations.

It is a great platform for informational content though it's not a real social network like Facebook - to keep earning money therefore I would say you have to produce continually good content to have a passive income.
